You can shop our website in various ways. One is by browsing from area to area and using the various 'Buy' buttons to select items or groups of items. We are primarily set up to offer our products online. We do not have a store. We have a few retailers and expect this segment to grow significantly between now and the Summer of 2005. Nothing is purchased until you check out. No information about you is collected until you check out. A temporary ID is assigned and a record is kept of the items in the shopping cart based on a cookie that is saved to your computer. No information is collected from your computer except your IP address. If you leave the site without purchasing the items in your shopping cart, the contents associated with the temporary ID remains on our site for 3 days. After 3 days it is deleted automatically. This enables you to come back to our site and click on 'View Cart' and the items you chose previously but have not yet purchased can be viewed -- providing you are using the same computer. (You won't be able to view the contents of your shopping cart from your work computer if you added items on your home computer.) Once you pay for the items in your shopping cart using a credit card, the contents of the shopping cart associated with the temporary ID is deleted. If you choose to pay by mailing a check or money order, the contents of your shopping cart will be deleted after 3 days. This enables you to come back to our site and change your order before you actually write a check or obtain a money order. After 3 days whether you have sent payment or not, the contents of the shopping cart assigned to your temporary ID are automatically deleted. When you click on a 'Buy' button, the page you are viewing will automatically refresh. This is an indication that this item has been added to your shopping cart. You will NOT be taken to the shopping cart simply because you clicked on a 'Buy' button. To actually view the contents of the shopping cart, use a link 'View Cart' on any page. When you click on 'View Cart', the shopping cart page will open in a new window. When this window opens, you can do one of four things
We ship items to North America through the US Postal Service. You can choose one of three methods:
You choose the method of shipment on the shopping cart checkout page. Whichever one you choose, we will request confirmation of delivery by the USPS (PS Form 152 for regular mail and Priority Mail). You do not need to be present to sign for the item, but we will have a record from the USPS of the date the package was delivered to your address. About Express Mail
Note that all stickers are printed to order. A very large order may require additional time to process and print. Special Promotions & Discounts 5 From time-to-time, we may offer special discounts or promotions. If you receive an offer from us, you must enter the coupon word in the appropriate space on the Shopping Cart checkout page. Not every individual will qualify for every offer. For example, our contributing photographers automatically receive a small discount. Only these individuals can use the qualifying discount code. If you are not a contributing photographer and use this code, your order will either be rejected or adjusted without the discount, even if you have already made payment. If you enter a discount code and receive a discount on the Shopping Cart to which you are not entitled, you can remove the discount by entering 'reset' (without the quotes) in the area for the discount code. Most discounts and promotional codes have an expiration date. We reserve the right to cancel a discount offer at any time. When you check out, you should confirm that the items shown in your shopping cart are the ones you actually want to purchase. We offer two methods of payment:
You choose the method in the lower left area of the shopping cart. If you pay by credit card through our PayPal link, your funds may not be immediately available to us. We reserve the right to delay processing your order until funds have actually been transferred from your account to ours. If you choose to pay by check or money order, we will not process your order until we have deposited your check and it has cleared. We will email you when we have received and deposited payment. Allow about 10 days for the check to clear and your order to arrive after you receive our email about receipt of payment. Note that we are not set up to take credit card information by phone or fax at this time. If you wish to use a credit or debit card, you need to make that choice online. While you are selecting products from our site, it is not necessary to be on a secure page since you are not providing any personal information. When you check out and choose to pay with a credit or debit card, you will be taken to a secure site in order to complete this information. The information you provide us when you purchase items from Lighthouse Stickers will never be provided to another entity or organization. We may email or mail you information about our products in the future. If you wish to not receive this information from us in the future, you will have the option of removing your email and/or mail address from future promotional mailings. If you are unhappy with any item you purchase from LighthouseStickers.com, you may return it for a full refund of the cost of the item(s) you return within 15 days of receipt of your order.
Please email us with your returns information stating what you are returning and why prior to shipping. Shipping & handling expenses are not refunded. If you are uncertain about the quality of our Lighthouse Stickers, please order an information kit with sample stickers.. The images we show on the website of the stickers are low resolution and much smaller that the actual stickers which are 2x2 inches. From time-to-time, we may select a different image for a given lighthouse from the one that appears on our website. Usually we show the new image within a day or two of selecting it. It may happen that between the time you ordered a sticker or set of stickers and the time we produce it, a change may have been made. 'Lighthouse
